Therapies we use to support families and couples (of any kind)

Gottman Method: a research-based approach to treating families and couples that focuses on creating a sound relationship. This includes love mapping, fondness and admiration, positivity, managing conflicts, and so much more. Gottman is a structured method that requires following certain steps, and many families and couples find solace in that structured approach.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT): EFT is less structured than Gottman and more focused on emotions rather than building blocks for foundations. Staples of this type of therapy include building emotional trust, understanding each other on a deeper level, promoting positive interactions, and increasing ability to communicate while emotional.

Narrative Therapy: This type of therapy allows you to tell your story your way, and rewrite your future to be exactly what you want and need. This method of therapy will help you externalize your trauma and find who you are separate from that. Creating a healthy narrative creates a healthy mind and identity.
